1. Who is eligible to subscribe to this digital content option?
Individuals and schools are eligible for this option.
An individual subscription is for personal, non-commercial use only. This option will be valuable for teachers, educational administrators, and researchers who may not have access to the journal via an institutional library or who prefer a dedicated content portal.
A school subscription is valid for schools serving P-12 students.
Institutional libraries must purchase digital access through a library aggregator (Project MUSE, EBSCO, ProQuest, and JSTOR).
Some groups are eligible for a special rate. Check the subscription types to see if you qualify.
2. How can I get a digital subscription?

3. What is included in my digital subscription?
A digital subscription includes access to all digitized issues of the journal, from the most recent to the earliest digitized issue (1980 for AAD and 1972 for SLS). All issues are fully searchable for quick and easy access to pertinent information.
In addition, digital access allows users to save content items to their personal library for future reference, download articles for offline reading, create citations, and set alerts to be notified when new issues are available.
Project MUSE also hosts open access content from other publishers, and any openly available content relevant to your search will also appear in the search results and be available for online reading.
4. What if I decide to cancel my digital subscription?
You have 30 days to cancel your subscription. The 30-day window begins on the date you created your login credentials. To cancel, please send an email to gupress@gallaudet.edu.
5. Can I just purchase a digital copy of one issue or article instead of committing to the entire catalog?
Yes! This digital option is also available through Project MUSE. Click on a specific article to see the purchase options.
The fee to purchase a digital article is $14, and the fee to purchase a digital issue is $24.

6. What if I already have a print subscription but want to change to digital?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to transition print subscriptions to the digital option at this time. We ask that you either subscribe to the digital option separately or wait until your print subscription expires and then subscribe to digital. Thank you for understanding.
